Saturday Fun & Educational Groups for Kids

SENSORY STARS for ages 2-3 years Sensory Play groups encourage socialization and self confidence in a child. While participating in interactive gross motor games and fine motor activities the child will improve sensory processing skills, body awareness, motor planning, visual motor skills, safety awareness and eye-hand coordination. ---------------------------------------------------------- BUILDING BLOCKS for ages 4-5 years Theme based gross and fine motor activities will encourage a child to interact with peers, participate in unfamiliar games and attempt increasingly difficult tasks. Children will find pleasure in their success and increase their self esteem while having fun.

MOTOR-VATIONS for ages 6-8 years Movement is the foundation from which all other skills develop. It is through movement that a child develops trunk stability, body awareness, bilateral integration, balance and mastery of the environment. Through participation in this group the foundation skills will be developed as well as activities to facilitate improvement in his/her eye-hand coordination, ocular-motor control, motor planning, hand development, visual-perceptual and fine motor skills. With these skills in place, attention, language, daily living activities and academic learning can take place.

ME AND MY SIBLING ages will vary Siblings of children with special needs often feel left out during therapy sessions or may have difficulty interacting with his/her brother or sister. This group will allow each child to have fun while positively interacting.

KOOL KIDS for ages 8-13 years Through stimulating interactive games, sensory activities and dramatic play, tweens will learn about body language, socially appropriate interactions, how to deal with stressful situations and have fun doing it.

Registration and Payment due at least 2 days prior to day of group
