POLICIES (Effective July 1, 2010)

 

PAYMENT:

 

All fees for tutoring services are due by the first of the month.  A grace period of 4 days will be given.  Payment received after the fifth of the month will be charged a $10 late fee.  Agreements signed mid billing cycle will be prorated.  Invoices will be mailed directly to the address that you provide to Education Station.  Payment options are check, money order or credit card (Visa/Mastercard only).  Check should be made payable to Education Station and mailed to:

CANCELLATIONS:

 

We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise in daily life.  However, we strongly ask that a 24 hour cancellation call be given so that we may inform our staff.  When canceling a session, please call the tutoring center at 457-4501 (you can leave a message). All cancelled sessions can be made up within one month (30 days) from the original cancelled session date.  No refunds or credits are given for cancelled sessions that are not held within this time frame. If a tutor cancels, the tutor must also make the session up within this one month (30 days) time period. A $15 fee will be charged to your account if you do not call to cancel and you do not show up for a scheduled session. 

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

 

The tutoring center follows a school snow closing policy for Valley Central School District. In the event that Valley Central schools are closed due to snow conditions, the tutoring center will also be closed.  If school is dismissed early due to snow conditions, the tutoring center will also be closed.  If there is a prediction of a snow storm and Valley Central cancels afterschool activities, the tutoring center will also be closed.  If you have any doubt, please call the tutoring center and a message will inform you of our closing.

 

**In the event that we are closed due to inclement weather, you will receive a credit for the session on the following month’s invoice.  The session will not be made up.**

 

 

TERMINATION TO AGREEMENT:

 

The agreement can be cancelled by either party at any time with two weeks given notice.  However, any sessions that have been paid for are expected to be completed. No refunds will be given.
